Installation Process

It’s incredibly easy to install the PC Matic antivirus software. If you’ve ever installed any other program on your Windows system, then you should have no problem installing PC Matic. Of course, our PC Matic antivirus review isn’t the appropriate place to give you detailed installation instructions. To that end, there’s a helpful support video on their website as to how to install PC Matic antivirus, or you can just follow the simple on-screen prompts.

The addition of an installation help video is a nice touch that a lot of companies don’t have, and worth noting in our PC Matic review. But essentially, all you need to do is just download the file, double click the installer, select your language, agree to the license terms, and follow the instructions on your screen (choose where to install, and other related, common options). This is no different than most downloaded software installers and is fairly standardized to make it easy to complete so that you can start using the PC Matic software right away.

The PC Matic interface is also incredibly easy to use, just like the installation process. The main panel of the software provides an overview of your license information, all the devices you’ve installed the program on, and allows you to schedule scans and access other features and settings with just a click or two. You can select your scan features, and run an on-demand scan at any time you like. The options, triggering a scan, and everything else is all there, at a glance, on your main panel.

Of course, there are also features that run in the background to protect you from threats in real-time. Results – either when a real-time issue is found, or when you finish an on-demand scan – are clearly spelled out, giving you access to more information about what was found, what was done, and giving you peace of mind.

With detailed reports and analytics, our PC Matic antivirus review stresses that the software is easy-to-use so that even tech-phobic or novice users can get plenty of value out of it, but that advanced users can also tweak and adjust their systems to their heart’s content.
